PUSH
by Theresa Corum, Editor

There’s a right way, and there’s a wrong way to push. If your car were to break down and you needed a push, you might be hurt if you pushed in the wrong way. Maybe the damage to your body would be isolated to your back, and this push would cost you more than you thought. You may realize there’s not much worse than a weak and hurting back that can affect you in everything you do.

Many times in pushing, we are taught to use our legs. There’s typically more leverage and strength in our legs than our back. Pushing can take less effort if done correctly. The same principles apply in the realm of the spirit.

After my daughter, Morgan, showed me what a friend of hers taught her using the word push, it made me think, and I want to pass this information on to you.

P – Pray
U – Until
S – Something
H –  Happens

Pray the prayer of faith. Faith without works is dead, and it is the WALK of faith that pleases God. So put LEGS of faith under your prayers and start walking.

Push and keep walking until something happens. Nothing can happen if nothing is happening. Get your heart right before God, Pray, and go for it. If it’s the wrong thing to do, you will know it. If it’s the right thing to do, you will know that too. Remember, prayer and faith go hand-in-hand. It takes both working together to make things happen. Keep praying and keep moving; something will happen!
